Our premium cool air intake systems are designed to pull cold air from outside your engine compartment from a completely sealed box. All systems are made with an X-Link polyethylene material to avoid the air intake box from conducting heat as would metal, but to insulate the filter from pulling hot air from your engine. Some boxes also give the enthusiast an opportunity to add accessories to scoop cool air into the filter box giving them that extra edge. Volant Cool Air Intakes are Dyno proven to gain up to 18 horsepower and maintain a gain during hot weather where others lack Volant Filter Box: Cross-link polyethylene filter box is engineered to specific design. It insulates and protects the filter from pulling hot air from the engine compartment, thus, increasing horsepower. Volant Air Duct: Cross-link polyethylene air ducts are sculptured to give the engine a less restrictive air pass to breathe. Larger diameters, unique bends and smooth transitions gives you maximum horsepower and awesome throttle response. Volant Ram Filter: Cleanable and reusable high grade filter media reduces air restriction and increases engine output. Precision pleat geometry optimizes airflow throughout the intake system.
