Premium Quality Materials - TYC incorporates a premium grade of materials to fabricate not only its products, but also the tooling or mold that components are formed from. For the plastic injection of lamp components, TYC generates tooling made from high grade metals that are extremely hard, causing a longer development time but also the most consistent shape, form and quality in any product production. Strength, durability and reliability are strict quality standards for TYC products. Non-recycled plastic (BMC) is used to form housings while the polycarbonate (PC) lenses are treated with UV and hardness coatings for longevity from damaging ultraviolet rays and road abrasions. Compliance - TYC is committed to provide superior products that are SAE/DOT compliant while adhering to strict FMVSS-108 requirements without compromising style and performance. Photometric - Each lighting product undergoes testing to ensure the required light dispersion (direction, intensity and pattern) as defined by US Federal Regulations (FMVSS 108) and enforced by the US Department of Transportation. In addition, the tests are repeated again by respected and certified Independent Laboratories who are contracted by Domestic and Foreign auto manufacturers such as Chrysler and General Motors. Transit Test - Original product packaging are submitted to shock tests (as determined by rated and insured carriers) to ensure lamps can withstand the rigors of transportation. Simulated Rain Test - Extended exposure to both fluids and moisture are standard to provide exemplary lamp performance in any weather condition.
