Description   AEM Short Ram Air Intake Acura Integra 1990-93. In most cases, AEM offers its Short Ram induction systems as an economical alternative to our Cold Air systems. However, during the development process, we found certain applications respond favorably to shorter inlet lengths over our longer Cold Air designs. For these applications (hot linked in our search results), we offer a Short Ram system only, since these are the best performing intakes for some vehicles. We perform extensive temperature testing to locate the filter in the coolest area of the engine compartment, which allows our Short Ram systems to achieve the lowest inlet temperatures possible. Dyno results and our testing procedures are in the search results section of our website. Every AEM Short Ram induction system features an individually tuned, mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum inlet pipe for each specific application. We test many combinations, and tune the length and diameter of each system to work with an engines harmonics (resonance frequencies) to help carry more air to the inlet valves across the RPM range. This translates into more power where you need it, when you need it. AEM proudly manufactures its intake systems in the USA. We submit every Short Ram system we make to the California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B.) to achieve an executive order verifying that they are 50-state legal.
